West Sayville Men's Golf Club

Dear Fellow Member,

Once again the start of a new golf season is upon us and it is time to get the Club off and running.  The general membership meeting for the Club will be held Saturday April 9 at 2PM in the grillroom of the West Sayville Golf Course.  Our first day of play will be April 16.  Dues for this season will be the same as last year, $250 for returning members and $275 for new members ($250 + $25 one-time initiation fee).  Membership fees for returning members must be paid no later than April 9.

An application for new membership is enclosed along with a renewal application.  New membership applications will not be considered without payment.  Checks will be returned to any new applicants that cannot be accommodated.  It is very important that new applicants attend the meeting.  New members can learn more about the club on our website:  www.wsmgc.org Remember to check your Green Key for expiration and to renew it prior to the start of the season if necessary.

There will be a golf outing at Wind Watch Golf Course in Hauppauge on August 31st to support the daughter of Bill Carney who use to work at Sayville. The cost is $200 per person and includes a putting contest, lunch, the round of golf and dinner afterwards. There will also be raffles, auctions and other games on the course.

The event is always a lot of fun and is also a great cause.  For more information you can look at the ROHHAD event page. If you can’t put together a foursome of your own but are interested in playing please see Jim Lehane or you can email Justin Hansen at [email protected] and we can arrange member foursomes.

This week, October 18, will be the second round of the two-ball tournament. We will be adding a week and finishing on October 25 with the match play tournament.

Also, the end of the year event is going to be November 15 at Pine Hills.
